The function is responsible for management of current
high-impact retail-specific risks and opportunities in client billing
guarantees, supplier payments, with emphasis on generics. The incumbents
spearhead the design of the supporting systems and processes. Value-added
comes from integrating knowledge of client and supplier contracts,
managed care programs, claim adjudication intricacies, PBM marketplace
economics such as market segmentation, competi to r pricing and positioning,
and drug pipeline and utilization trends. Team members work with other Marketing
functional areas, Sales and Account Management and Finance to forecast, measure,
and enhance profitability. They work with IT to create and improve operational
capabilities. |
