The Director of Marketing has responsibility for Marketing
Strategy, Media Relations and Marketing Communications. The Director
will lead the development of the marketing strategy, focusing on local
and regional branding. He/she will coordinate internal and external
marketing communications including routine and strategic communications
to employees, medical staff, volunteers, referring physicians and other
internal and external audiences. Develop and recommend marketing communications
strategy for situation-specific communications. Act as counsel to Executive
Staff for media relations, crisis communication, and issues management.
Work with the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Market Development
to develop an annual Marketing Communications plan including strategies,
priorities, tactics and budgets for the organization and for individual
service lines. |

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible
for the implementation and coordination of the Hospital’s Regulatory
Compliance program, to include all phases of preparation for and survey
by JCAHO, DPH, CMS etc. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will ensure
completion and follow-up of Root Cause Analyses related to actual or
potential sentinel events. The incumbent will also coordinate or participate
in Quality Improvement Committees. |

The Director of Physician Relations and Business Development
is responsible for developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships
with physicians and their practices, resulting in high physician satisfaction
and increased patient referrals/admissions. Reports to Senior Vice
President Strategy and Market Development, with a close working relationship
with the President and CEO and Senior Vice President Medical Affairs.
Represents the office of the President and CEO of Stamford Health System
and acts as liaison between physicians, their office staff, and SHS
management, promoting open communication. Identify and organize opportunities
for continual communication and feedback between physicians and the
President and CEO and other SHS VPs. Work with internal SHS VPs, directors,
managers, and others as needed in identifying and fulfilling the needs
of physician practices when problem resolution is required or specific
services are requested. Identify and target appropriate physician offices
for increased referrals and admissions to SHS services. Work closely
with physician practices to understand which SHS services and products
will be of most benefit to those physician practices. Work with the
Senior Vice President, Strategy and Market Development, Senior Vice
President for Medical Affairs to continually update targeted physician
lists and geographic strategies. |
